I haven't been able to build my boats yet. But I found that you figure out the length of the bottom and then take your transom and bow widths given in the plans and then simple change the widths given by the plans that fall between the transom and bow giving you a longer boat but built to plan widths. Hope my thinking makes sense to you and that someone that has been able to build their boats will chime in just in case I am wrong.

Correct. For instance 17.5''/14' is 1.25 and just take 1.25 and multiply it times all of your other measurements. You don't have to do height but, if you want everything to look the same but larger, you'll want to multiply times your height too.
