Bow/Stern angle cuts

Postby cajunsnowchaser » Thu Jul 09, 2015 3:23 am

I have a question about the angle cuts on the Bow and Stern of the duckhunter and the croc. I understand the reasoning behind the angled cut to make the bow and stern face outwards. But what is the reasoning for the angled cuts in the sides of the Bow and Stern for. The boats I built so for I did not use these cuts and was asked why I didnt and told I may develop some problems because I didnt do those cuts.

The sides of the boat are tapering outwards, coupled with the fact the bow and stern are angled, causing the sides to be angled to match the taper.
